LAS CRUCES Is a loving translation of family recipes, culinary inspiration, Latino/Caribbean fusion and collision of the food along with the Latinoaméricana cultures. Las Cruces is serving a unique blend of Latino and American foods spanning from the flavors, smells, herbs, species and condiments of Spain, the Caribbean, & Central – South America. Take this along with the traditional flavors of the streets from the chefs “México Lindo y Querido,” and you have Las Cruces.
Our passion for good food makes us strive to use all natural and organic ingredients, along with fresh. locally grown seasonal vegetables and fruits. We use fresh seafood, high quality meats and whenever possible, local and wild ingredients. Our goal is to source these ingredients with a dedication to detail and care in what we feed our friends and customers.
The Chef
América Mauricio is the Executive Chef and owner of Las Cruces. Born in Vera Cruz Mexico, America’s interest in cooking began with the marvelous food she enjoyed during her childhood. Her mother is a magnificent cook and tester, and she instilled in America and her siblings the passion to cook the traditional regional cuisines of Mexico. America embodies this passion and has never stopped exploring and trying new flavors that will make you say,
“WOW! That was Yummi!”
